Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish and English heritage is her mother. Her mother has Spanish and English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. After having lived within Buenos Aires for six years and then moving to Victoria. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatizing and she did not learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being forced to change schools. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. When she was 16, she quit college and began pursuing a career as an actress full-time.
