Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actress. Elson started her career in the television industry as a model for children and actress. Her best-known role is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson on CBS"Sci-Fi. Andrea was a contestant and landed the role of Lynn Tanner on the hit series ALF (1986). After a long time of work in hit TV shows and movies, she decided to leave the field to raise her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner as the teenage daughter Kate and Willie during a time that she was going through a turbulent period. In her retrospective from 2000, People Elson said developing as a young woman in front of the sitcom-viewing audience was a challenge. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson was raised in a world of traveling because her father was a traveling salesman. Before turning 10, she'd lived at New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea got her agent while she was in San Diego, where she got the part she auditioned for in the first in which she tried out for. Fusco said that ALF is 285 and can be a beer drinker. ALF was getting more popular among children thus NBC advised Fusco that he couldn't drink since kids were watching. ALF is not a good example to follow. Fusco, who believed ALF did not have the maturity required to drive drunk, was wrong. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was successfully treated, and the cancer remained in remission until the year 2019. He passed away from the illness on June 26, 2019 in the year 75, at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
