Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. Her childhood was filled with dreams of great heights. Her most memorable roles include the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the drama Precious. When she was a child, Paula Patton was raised in an Los Angeles middle-class household. The mother of her children was a film lover and urged her to enjoy movies as a young person. Paula enjoyed participating in school co-curricular activities and she was a huge fan of drama. Paula loved acting with friends and was a part of the school's stage productions. She acted in many performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a career. She was part of the University of Southern California's summer program, and enjoyed it immensely. She was awarded the PBS 3-month assignment to make documentary films. As soon as she completed the three-month assignment successfully the first task was working in the production department for documentaries on television. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. Even though she loved working in the field, she wanted to become an actor. She started her career in acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star for the romance comedy Hitch. Over the past few years she's been in a variety of movies and shows.
